Gardening tools stolen in raid

THOUSANDS of pounds worth of landscape gardening equipment has been stolen in a burglary.
Intruders broke into two outbuildings at a property in Wisbech St Mary between 7.30pm and 10.20pm on Friday.

The goods included two strimmers, two hedge trimmers, a chain saw and a leaf blower, all made by Stilh, a Mig welder, a Padslo nail gun, a Bosch portable radio, and some socket sets.

Call Det Sgt Matt Swash, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information to contact police.

“I would particularly like to speak to anyone who has been offered any property resembling that described.”
