A FUNERAL has been held in Poland for a man killed when a coach carrying him and other migrant workers from an Oundle farm crashed near Alton Towers theme park.
The service was held for Piotr Wolski, who came from the village of Labunie, in eastern Poland, on Thursday.

The 26-year-old, who worked on Lutton Farm, near Oundle, died, and 71 people were injured in the village of Alton, Staffordshire, on August 18.

The male coach driver and three women are still being treated in hospital.

The driver's condition remains critical, but stable, while the women are said to be improving.

An inquest into Mr Wiolski's death has been opened and adjourned.

He and other migrant workers had been on a day trip to Alton Towers and were on their way back when tragedy struck.

The coach hit two cars and then rolled down an embankment before coming to rest in a back garden.
