NEW students got the chance to find out about life at Peterborough Regional College as they joined in the fun of the freshers' fair.
More than 1,500 students browsed the 30 information stalls to find out about the college’s clubs and societies, sports, student discounts and services available in the city.
Afterwards, community and student liaison officer Mohammed Sarfraz said: “The event was really successful, and we’ve had excellent feedback from the students.”
He added: “We had a rodeo bull this year, which was very popular, and we had lots of people queuing up to have a go.”
Video game Guitar Hero was another fun activity enjoyed by the students, and the barbecue food on offer helped to replenish their energy levels.
