A NIGHT of Christian jazz will be held at a city church this week.
St Mark’s Church, in Lincoln Road, is hosting the evening of music performed by Christian singer/songwriter Chris Bowater.

A BEADING group will meet at Dogsthorpe Methodist Church Hall tomorrow.
The meeting will take place from 7pm, and will also see craft supplies on sale at discount prices.
Admission costs £1, including refreshments.
The meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

Debating group is launched
A NEW discussion group starts tomorrow.
The group, which will meet at the Centre for Well Being in Lincoln Road, will meet on the second Tuesday of every month, from 1.30pm to 3pm.

Bag a bargain at car boot sale
An indoor car boot sale will take place in Dogsthorpe every week.
The sale will run from 8am to noon every Sunday at the Focus Youth Centre, in Chestnut Avenue, Dogsthorpe.
Sellers can turn up from 7am, and buyers from 8am.
Tables cost £5. Entry costs 20p.
Church hosts autumn fair
An annual autumn fair will be held at a church hall this weekend.
The fair will be held in All Saints church hall, in Park Road, on Saturday, from 2pm.
There will be a number of stalls and activities on offer throughout the afternoon.
