THE first of a planned series of concerts at Westgate Church this year will be by a Ukrainian group – the Kiev Singers.
They provide a repertoire of classical pieces, plus Ukrainian church and folk music, including solos and accompaniments by organ, piano and bandura, the Ukrainian national instrument.

The concert will be at the church in Westgate, Peterborough, on Friday, April 4, at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 (concessions £6) and can be obtained by calling 01733 311043 or at the door.

Profits go to help Ukrainian orphans and homeless children, including victims of the Chernobyl disaster.
