Driver freed after A1073 crash

A PETERBOROUGH man was freed from his car by firefighters after an accident on Sunday (August 24).
Emergency services were called to the A1073 at Cowbit, near Spalding, at about 11.30am where a red Ford Mondeo had left the road.

A 46-year-old man from Peterborough who had been driving was released from the car by the fire and rescue team and was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital for treatment.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
