FAMILIES in Cambridgeshire will be spoilt for choice during the Family Learning Festival, which runs throughout October.
Scores of activities designed to encourage families to learn together will take place in schools, libraries, colleges, sports centres and museums across the county as part of the festival.

This annual national festival of learning offers parents, carers and their children opportunities to enjoy arts and crafts, sports, computing, music, storytelling, cooking and much more.

Over the years it has inspired adults, in particular, to continue their own learning afterwards, joining local clubs and classes.

As a result, they are better able to help their children with their schoolwork as well as improving their own skills and knowledge.

Family Learning is part of Adult and Community Learning Services run by Cambridgeshire County Council. Families can attend events free of charge.
