A WOMAN remains in a critical condition following a crash on the edge of Peterborough.
The victim, in her 20s, is receiving care at Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, after suffering multiple injuries in a rush-hour crash on Tuesday evening.

She was rushed in for specialist care after being struck by an articulated Tesco truck while apparently walking on the Frank Perkins Parkway at 5.30pm.

The truck driver – a 47-year-old man from Lincolnshire – was uninjured.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, who has not yet come forward, is asked to call the Peterborough road policing unit, on 0845 456 4564.
