MOTORISTS faced delays yesterday morning after police attended the scene of a car crash on the outskirts of the city.
Two cars were involved in a collision on the A15 London Road between Yaxley and Hampton Hargate at about 10.40am.
The crash was between a Vauxhall Corsa and a Mini Cooper, and the drivers of both vehicles were taken to Peterborough District Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The A15 was partially blocked for more than an hour following the collision, with officers guiding other drivers around the crash scene.
Police said the traffic had returned to normal by noon.
