Community group's meeting at refurbished centre

COPELAND Community Association is holding its anual meeting at 7.30pm on Monday, July 28, at Copeland Community Centre, in South Bretton, Peterborough.
Acting secretary Dermot McElderry said: “We run the centre for the benefit of the local area, and our user groups include an over-60s club, a bridge club, a karate club, a local church, a chess club, a children.s play centre and a shape up and dance club.

“The centre was extensively refurbished a couple of years ago, and we have recently had some new flooring and furniture as well as projector and screen facilities, making it ideal for meetings, parties, seminars and social occasions.”
