A ROADSHOW offering equipment and advice for blind and partially-sighted people is coming to Peterborough on October 16.
The mobile Sight Loss Information Service, which is run by the charity Action for Blind People, will arrive in Cathedral Square on Thursday, October 16.

Between 10am and 4pm, people with sight problems can find out about the latest aids and gadgets to make their lives easier – including vibrating bank note detectors and talking microwaves – as well as get impartial advice from experts.

Sally Riley, of the Sight Loss Information Service, said: "Whether you are visually impaired, or know somebody who may be having problems with their sight, please pay us a visit and pick up information or ask us questions.

"Visitors can try out a wide range of daily living aids or the latest computer and magnification technology."
