PASSENGERS had a lucky escape after a bus collided with a bridge last night.
The Stagecoach bus, travelling between Huntingdon and Peterborough, crashed into the bridge in Mill Road, Alconbury, near Huntingdon, at 6.30pm.

It is not known how many people were on board, but no one was hurt and police had cleared the bus from the accident scene by 8pm.

A Stagecoach spokesman said: "Fortunately, no one was injured and we were able to send a replacement service to allow passengers to continue their journey."
