Blaze put out in city centre flat

FIREFIGHTERS were called to put out a small fire which broke out in a city centre flat at 3pm yesterday.
One crew from Stanground and one from Dogsthorpe were called to reports of smoke coming from flats in Bourges Boulevard, Peterborough.

The first crew arrived to find a small fire in a flat at 3pm yesterday. (8)

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a fire extinguisher to put the fire out.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
