BREAKING NEWS 4PM: POLICE are linking a handbag snatch which happened today with an ongoing series in Peterborough over the last month.
The latest robbery happened in Stonebridge, Orton Malborne, at about 1pm.

A woman, believed to be 60, was approached from behind by a man on a bike who grabbed the bag, pulling her to the ground.

The man cycled off in the direction of the Gloucester Centre.

The woman suffered minor injuries. The handbag contained keys and cash.

The robber is described as white, 21 to 22 years old, and wearing a white hat and white jacket.

Detective Inspector Jon McAdam, who is investigating the robberies, said he would particularly like to speak to a man on a bicycle who pursued the robber just after the attack, but lost him.

DI McAdam said: "Efforts to catch the person responsible for these muggings are continuing and we are fully committed to bringing him to justice.

"I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen someone matching the description given in the area at the time to contact police."

Anyone with information should contact DI McAdam on 0845 456 456 4, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

Now Captain you know they probably breached his human rights when they arrested him or filled the paperwork in with the wrong colour ink. How this scum is still out there gets me, time to get some vigilantes on the streets and when he tries again give him some street justice.

Now then Dan Jackson,

Like you i also referred to this idiot as 'scum' and also said vigilantes would be a good idea, but some one reported it as unsuitable!!!

Where you put 'street justice' i may have taken what i put a little too far, but all in all i pretty much said what you have just said.

Watch closely as your comment will also get reported, like mine by someone who feels they have the right to take away our fredom of speech lol

Some people make me laugh!!!

Hey Boro Lad, am glad to see some of us still believe in good values. There are so many politically correct people on this site it drives me nuts.

Freedom of speech should be allowed, if not, don't let people comment

i would also like to see some honest law abiding adults take to the streets and take back what is ours by rights from these low life scum bags that put nothing into this country but seem to think they can have and take what ever they want by what ever means.
so some street justice is a great idea. its only a matter of time before it happens.
when we clear the street of scum lets then march on to london and sort out the politicians!!!!

With you all the way Jacka. I personally refuse to let any of the scum near where I live. If they settle, start drinking or even hint at trouble I go tell them to clear off. I realise not everyone is able to stand up to people in this way but would happily teach anyone the martial arts needed to defend yourself and ensure these morons learn who's boss.
