My Posh Day by Nilesh Patel of Millfield

Current form: "I was introduced to Posh by the club's football in the community scheme.
I first went to a game in the 1989-90 season as part of a school trip from Fulbridge Road Infants - it was a 2-2 draw with Doncaster.
"I've been a season ticket holder for the last 10 years. I had one year in the family stand when the club sold tickets at £30 (hint, hint) and the rest in the London Road End which is where I watch from now.
"I have missed just two games this season, both at home, one to play cricket and one for a stag trip to Dublin. We won both games, 3-0 and 7-0!"
Pre-match: "One advantage of working at The Evening Telegraph is the opportunity to travel for free to away games so thanks to Swanny and Lowndesy for that.
"We delayed our departure until 11am to make sure the Spotland snow-clearing operation was successful. We arrived at the ground at 1.45pm after a brief stop en route for a snack, a drink and to listen to Swanny slagging everyone off.
"I went to The Church pub to meet scores of other Posh fans and got into the ground 15 minutes before kick-off."
First-half report: "We looked very comfortable at the back and enjoyed plenty of possession, but created very little.
"At half-time I sought out famous fan Adi Mowles for his views. He is always interesting and usually wrong - he said he was settling for a point, I disagreed and said we would win."
Atmosphere: "The Posh fans were outstanding all game helped by a 50th birthday celebration trip in honour of Keith Danes.
"He and the rest of the oldies kept singing 'Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy Robson on the wing."
Second-half report: "The match followed a similar pattern to the first half with the added bonus of two Posh goals.
"George Boyd roved well all game and he popped up in the inside right position before blasting home a 30-yarder.
"They should have equalised straight away, but after that we were very comfortable and the second goal was justified."
Post-match: "We left the ground at 5.30pm and arrived back in Peterborough at 7.30pm. Neither listening to England lose at rugby or Liverpool win at football was particularly enjoyable."
Overall matchday rating: 7
