Current form: I have just turned 16 and I have supported Posh for three years.
I have always loved football - my 'other side' is Man Utd and I've seen them play a few times. I also play for Ryhall Under 16s.

My dad first took me along to watch Posh, and I really became hooked towards the end of the 2006 season when we hammer
ed MK Dons at home playing some beautiful football and seeing Boydy's 35-yard volley against Boston.

This is my second season as a season ticket holder and I sit next to my dad in the North Stand, London Road end enclosure, on the front row near the dug-out. It's a great position, close to the action, sometimes a bit too close when Fergie kicks the water bottle! You get to see and hear the tactics and 'encouragement' from Darren and Rooster.

Pre-match: My dad picked me up from my girlfriend's house at 1:30pm. We parked at the Cherry Tree and had a pre-match drink. I went into the club shop and bought a pair of Posh shorts for training. We got into the ground at 2:20pm as we always like to watch the warm-up, especially the quick tempo close passing game and the shooting practice.

As Hereford were second from bottom and hadn't won away from home so far this season, I was expecting an easy 4-0 win.

Half-time report: Not good. We started brightly but then we were all over the shop. We were trying to many fancy flick-ons instead of holding the ball and playing simple football. We were giving Hereford far too much space and not closing them down quick enough.

A couple of good saves by Joe Lewis kept us in it.

The penalty was a bit against the run of play.

The ref was truly awful, handing out yellow cards like confetti for nothing and minimal contact.

I had a cup of PG Tips and dad had a Bovril. We had a chat with the rest of the lads around us. They are a real good bunch of lads who know their footie and we have a laugh and bit of banter.

Atmosphere: I'm sorry to say, but the atmosphere was dreadful. The only time the crowd made any noise was when Joe Lewis made a good save at 1-0.

I couldn't believe the amount of fans that left early considering we were winning.

Full-time report: Not our normal fluent passing but we defended well. The midfield had an off-day, but we took our chances, we won ugly and probably just about deserved it. But 2-0 did flatter us though.

Brief summary of the match: It was a lacklustre display by Posh, far from our usual fluent high tempo passing game. My man-of-the-match was Lewis closely followed by Zakuani and Morgan. It was not the most entertaining of games but, more importantly, it was four clean sheets in a row at home and it puts us into the play- offs and only three points off automatic promotion.

Overall matchday rating: 6
Posh fans: 6
their fans: 6
