"I have worked as youth team manager and match day host and also help out with the commentaries on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
"Posh will always be my club so I'll always find an excuse to keep coming!"
Pre Match: "I was on the phone all morning to friends talking about the game. The FA Cup still excites us old pros and I recalled the day I played in front of 28,000 at London Road against Leeds and also scoring against Middlesbrough – it's a great competition.
"I visited an old team-mate, Jack Carmichael, before arriving at the ground about 12.30pm. I craftily arranged to park my car at another old Posh player Ricky Heppolette's shop on London Road.
"I was summarising the match for Radio Cambridgeshire, but I wasn't asked to say anything until just before kick-off."
Full match report: Slideshow: Albion's craft is too much for Posh - Posh 0, West Brom 3. Half-Time Report: "Whenever I played in cup matches, the referees always seemed to favour the big side and this was so true here.
"We had a shocking start with some poor defending to lose two early goals, but we should definitely have had a penalty for handball from Craig Mackail-Smith's header.
"It was a shocking decision and I was still cursing at half-time. I still found time to go to the boardroom and meet Frank Clark, the old Nottingham Forest manager, who I used to play with at Newcastle.
"Mark Arber was also around so I had a word with him as well. Lots of people were talking about the referee."
Atmosphere: "Most of the atmosphere was created by the West Brom fans, but then they did have more to sing about."
Full-Time Report: "The penalty and the red card killed us off and from then on it was damage limitation so it was a consolation that we didn't concede any further goals.
"The difference between the two sides for me were the two central midfielders for West Brom who I felt were outstanding.
"The referee didn't get any better though and he denied us another penalty for a shove in the back at the far post.
"I just hope the team aren't too deflated and that we can pick ourselves up in time for the Rotherham match."
