Current form: I've been a Posh fan since the 1989/90 season and haven't missed an away game for more than two seasons.
I have to admit I'd only miss a game if there was a family bereavement or wedding, or an important game of cricket which I was playing in.

Season ticket-holder for last 10 seasons, watching games from London Road.

Pre-match: I
left Peterborough city centre at 9.30am for the long trek north. We were tonking along nicely until getting stuck in a long delay on the A66 (sod's law it wasn't in one of the nice scenic stretches either!)

We arrived at Brunton Park at 2pm which still allowed plenty of time to tuck into my two cheese and onion pasties.

Met up with friends who had also travelled up and discussed both the long trip (four-and-a-half hours including traffic jam) and our hopes for the next two or three games.

We were in confident mood before after three straight wins in the league and had high hopes of the winning streak being four by full-time.

Half-time report: We were pleased to be level at 1-1 because it could have been a whole lot worse.

We looked shaky for 25 minutes but then settled down after going behind.

Their goal looked offside but we couldn't have any complaints because it had been coming. We could have been one down in the first four minutes but for a good save and a clearance off the line.

We missed some good chances but Charlie Lee's goal had us level.

Atmosphere: Once again we had a good following away from home. I thought there were about 400 'Poshies' at the game and we were in pretty good voice. The noisiest the Carlisle fans got was when moaning at the referee!

Full-time report: We did well to get a point, but with better finishing we should have had all three. We must have created a dozen good chances. CMS was culpable – he should have had a hat-trick.

He has to improve his finishing in one-one-ones, but all credit to him for keeping going and being in the right place at the right time to get us a point.

We were still in the dressing room at the start of the second half and it was an awful mistake from Joe Lewis for their second goal.

When they got a third soon after I was fearing the worst, but the penalty got us back into it and from then on we should have won.
