Ultraviolet is the main theme song from upcoming Nickelodeon Movies & Paramount Pictures' release "ANGUS, THONGS & PERFECT SNOGGING" directed by Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham & Bride and Prejudice).
"This has been a bit of a dream to be honest. I'd probably be screaming if I wasn't singing just to get across the adrenaline, the power and excitement of what's going on." says charismatic frontman James Flannigan. The boys have recorded several tracks for the soundtrack to the film.
Featuring JAMES FLANNIGAN on vocals, CHARLIE WRIDE on guitar, MATT HARRIS on bass and THOMAS SLAYTOR on drums, these fresh faces bring their hard hitting rock energy and undeniable charm to the streets of Britain.
In the short time they have been working together as a band the guys have become fast friends. "We really feed off one another musically. We've got an amazing sound and we're playing great together," says guitarist Charlie Wride.
The youngsters were handpicked by Gurinder Chadha after a lengthy auditioning process to appear in the film. The Stiff Dylans represent the best and the brightest musicians from two of the top music colleges in the U.K.; The Brighton Institute Of Modern Music and The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.
Increasingly the many music colleges across the UK are becoming fertile breeding grounds for new talent, with members of British acts such as The Kooks, Son Of Dork, Paul Steel, Kate Nash & Rooster amongst many others having studied on courses.
The single Ultraviolet is available to download on July 20
