SPEEDWAY: Ian Clark announced his intention to quit Panthers after scoring just four points in a 44-34 win over Boston in the National League.
FOOTBALL: Bob Doyle saved a point for Posh after Harry Holman had opened the scoring for Exeter in a Division Three match at London Road.
HOCKEY: Peterborough Town fought back from 2-0 to draw 2-2 in a friendly against Northampton Saints. Max Webb and Jimmy Wheeler scored the Town goals for whom Jeremy Stanyard missed a penalty stroke.
RUGBY UNION: Unbeaten Borough were held to a 6-6 draw by Towcester. John Williams converted penalties in the first and last minutes.
