FORMER cinema ushers, ticket sellers and popcorn servers are invited to a reunion.
The event for all ex-employees of the Odeon Cinema, in Peterborough, has been arranged for June 5.

It will take place at the ex-servicemen's club, in Priestgate.

The Odeon Cinema opened in Broadway, Peterborough, in 1937 and operated for more than 50 years successfully.

In 1991, the Odeon showed its last film to the public, and was left to fall into a state of disrepair, until local entrepreneur Peter Boizot purchased the building as part of a larger project including a restaurant and art gallery.

Four years later, The Broadway was reopened in its current form.

For more information, call Helen Cave on 01733 268108.
