DAVID Grist sent in this old picture of a section of the crowd at a Posh match at London Road, on January 9, 1957.
He said: "It must have been a cup match as some of the crowd are wearing the old FA Cup rosettes.

"It may have been a third round FA cup game against Lincoln City (2nd Division) which ended 2-2, the replay at Sincil Bank went to extra time and Posh won 5-4.

"I remember going with my granddad to Huddersfield in the fourth round on the train. Posh lost 3-1. In the Huddersfield team was a young lad of 16 by the name of Denis Law, who scored his first FA Cup goal that day.

"In the picture my granddad Wilfred Cox is in the front row fourth from the left."
