Operation Market Garden takes place over the weekend of September 12 at Spanhoe Airfield, between Laxton and Harringworth, near Corby, Northamptonshire.
The event is in honour of those who fought during the Operation Market Garden campaign in Holland in September 1944.
During the war, Spanhoe was home to the 315th Troop Carrier Group (TCG), from where they were involved in D-Day, Market Garden and the Rhine crossing.
Veterans from the 315th TCG are being flown over from America by current serving troops in the 315th in a C-17 Globemaster.
An airshow will be taking place featuring Spitfire, Messerschmitt 109, Mustang and Dakota as well as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and much more.
There will also be static displays of Spitfire and C-47.
An Arnhem battle re-enactment will be taking place both days together with field gun displays.
There will also be living history displays, static exhibits, tank rides, museum, military and civilian vehicles, agricultural and steam displays and various trade stalls.
A remembrance parade and service will take place on the Sunday morning with the British Regimental Para Band in attendance to honour all service personnel from conflicts both past and present.
Entertainment is to be provided throughout the weekend and on Saturday night there will be a Big Band dance with music provided by the acclaimed Ray McVay and the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
Live entertainment will also be provided on Friday evening by Big Boy Bloater and his Southside Stompers. Caravan and camping facilities are also available on site.
