Reader Ida Bradley is in this photo of a fashion parade at the Co-Op in 1949.
She is one of the brides- maids, to the right of the bride.

Ida can recognise some of the other models. To the left of the bridegroom is Gladys Wilkins, and on the far left is Joyce Costin.

The bridegroom worked in the tailoring department, and was called Dougie.

Mrs Bradley is not sure of the bride's name.

Second from the right is the Co-Op manager's wife, Mrs Summersgill.

Mrs Bradley thinks third from the right is Margaret Bridges, and the little girls are Jane Coates and Sandra Jones, but she doesn't know which is which.

Mrs Bradley worked at the Co-Op for eight years, and met her husband George there, he was a carpenter . ET readers may remember the couple as they were mayor and mayoress some years ago.

She was 19 or 20 in the photograph, and said she looks back fondly on her time as a model at the Co-Op.

"We had some fun there," she said. "We had some nice fashion shows, it was really interesting to do it."

Do you recognise anyone from the photographs, or can you remember the events? Maybe you were one of the models at the Co-op.

If you have any information, please contact Hannah Gray.
