Do you remember: A reader has been able to give us more names of Helpston Football Club players.
The above photograph was taken in 1948.

Trevor Markham, who sent in the picture, is on the far left in the front row.

And Pete Waghorn, from Barkston Drive, Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, rang in to tell us the names of some of the others.

Second from the left on the front row is Ben Norwell, fourth from the left is Pete Waghorn, and next to him is Brian Waghorn.

In the back row, second from the left is Horrace Wright, and the tall man on the right is the trainer, Eric Wade.

If you have any more or similar memories, contact Hannah Gray, Looking Back, The Evening Telegraph, 57 Priestgate, Peterborough, PE1 1JW, e-mail hannah.gray@peterboroughtoday.co.uk or call 01733 588726. All submitted pictures will be returned.
