Do you remember: Peterborough woman Samantha Kettle brought in this lovely photograph.
It is of Newborough Cricket Club, and was taken in 1925.

She believes her grandfather, William Kettle, who was known as Bill, is in the back row, third from the left, wearing a flat cap, but we do not know the names of the others.

As it was so long ago, it is doubtful that any are still with us, but maybe one of their relatives is around.

If you can name any of the other players, contact Hannah Gray, Looking Back, The Evening Telegraph, 57 Priestgate, Peterborough, PE1 1JW, e-mail hannah.gray @peterboroughtoday.co.uk or call 01733 588726. All submitted pictures will be returned..

Samantha has some photographs of Newborough, which may be of interest to anyone looking into the history of the village. If you are interested, contact Hannah Gray.
