Park and ride: An efficient and friendly choiceDetails correct at December 14, 2007
Whether it's for shopping, the Posh game or even a go on Christmas on Ice in Cathedral Square, park and ride is an efficient and environmentally friendly way to get into the city.
Buses run every 12 minutes from the Pearl car park at Lynch Wood business park, off Oundle Road and the Perkins car park, off Oxney Road.
Buses are operated by Cavalier Travel and R Kime and Co, and parking and bus travel are both free.
Saturday services run from about 8am until the last bus leaves Queensgate shortly after 6pm.
The Perkins service also drops off and picks up passengers at Midgate to make it easier for shoppers to visit to the market and Cathedral Square.
Sunday Park and Ride services will also run every 12 minutes starting from about 10am, with the last bus from Queensgate at 5pm.
Saturday services continue until December 29 while a Sunday service will run until December 23.
