In October, Twin Atlantic will be supporting The Subways on their nationwide tour – but before that, they have a run of headlines dates themselves.
The Glaswegian band are playing at The Met Lounge tonight, and they are already drawing comparisons to Biffy Clyro, Lost Prophets and Hundred Reasons.

They are among a wealth of bands that are emerging from the thriving Glasgow scene, and their s
tage energy has been described as both "vibrant" and "engaging".

Support comes from This Scene Is Dead and Kuda. Tickets cost £6 at the door, from 8pm.

Also playing in Peterborough tonight is Little Man Tate, whose lead singer, Jon Windle, revealed to The Guide last week that he had to take a break from rehearsals after he broke his jaw after being punched outside a Brighton nightclub.

With five Top 40 singles under their belt, the gig at The Park is set to be a lively affair, with support from Inner City Pirates and The Brackets.

Tickets cost £12 at the door, from 7pm.

If you like your music a little heavier, then you can't go wrong with a visit to The Park tomorrow night when death metal band Nile play.

The band's music combines traditional and technical death metal with elements of Middle Eastern music, incorporating traditional Egyptian instruments in some songs.

Support for this show is from Grave and Belphegor. Tickets cost £15 at the door, from 7pm.

And classic rock fans should head to The Park on Thursday to catch Voodoo Six, with support from Acer and Point7Pistol.

Voodoo Six are influenced by Audioslave, Alice In Chains and Pantera. Entry costs £5 on the door.
