SHEFFIELD indie kids The Situationists are in Peterborough tonight (Friday) to headline the Met Lounge venue.
The four-piece, who have received glowing words of encouragement from Arctic Monkeys, were handpicked to play on this year's unsigned stage at the Reading Festival.

Their guitar-led sound is similar to that of Maximo Park and Good Shoes, and they have just played the In The City showcase, in Manchester.

Support for tonight's show comes from Ipswich's Rosalita and Peterborough's Loose Baby Charlotte.

Tickets cost £6 at the door, from 8pm.

Other upcoming shows at The Met Lounge include James Yuill and Exit Calm next Friday, Operahouse and Flashguns on November 21, and Fenech Soler and Disasteradio on December 12.
