Terrorvision singer Tony Wright brings his new side project to Peterborough on Thursday, 2 October.
Made famous in the mid-'90s thanks to a string of hits including Perseverance, Tequila, Celebrity Hitlist and Oblivion, Terrorvision were easily one of the UK's biggest rock bands.

Over the last few years, the band has got back together to perform a few shows, but singer Tony is mainly concentrating on Laika Dog.

This band captures the same raw working class storytelling and honesty that made Terrorvision so enduring.

The band was formed on a high Yorkshire moor top. Tony, Paddy and Sim were building dry stone walls and thought it would be a good idea, and a warmer pastime, to form a band and play the tunes they had been inspired to write.

The trio met up with Parry a week later and the band was created. Tony – a waller – Paddy – a joiner – Sim – an electrician – and Parry – a labourer.

Tony said: "Even if you don't like the tunes, we're handy to have around."

Laika Dog play The Park, in Park Road, on Thursday, 2 October.

Support comes from Eureka Machines and 5th Time Lucky.

Tickets cost £8 from www.thepark4music.co.uk.
