IT'S been a year since Rosalita headlined the first Deaf By Stereo- promoted sell-out show in Peterborough.
And the team have invited the Ipswich indie-rockers back to celebrate the end of their first year with a show at The Met Lounge tonight.

Acts who have played Deaf By Stereo nights over the past 12 months include Late Of The Pier, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Operator Please – who have all gone on to storm this summer's festival season.

But it was Rosalita who played the first headline set in the Xoo Bar venue, last autumn.

Rosalita play jerky indie pop "with the aim of making people dance". The band cite Talking Heads, The Stranglers, The Jam and Devo as influences.

Co-promoter Rachel Devlin said: "It's great to have Rosalita back a year later, we've had a lot of fun over the 21 shows we've done so far, so we are hoping for a good night."

Tonight's support comes from The Brackets and Dead Actors.

Other bands lined up to play future shows include The Situationists, Operahouse, Exit Calm and James Yuill.

Doors open at 8pm tonight. Entry costs £6 at the door, or £5 with a flyer. There is an 18+ aftershow from midnight.
