FUN-LOVING old school punk rockers March To The Grave (MTTG) stomp out of Stamford and into Peterborough to join Destructors666 on their latest split EP.
Those of you who have enjoyed MTTG's riotous live outings will not be disappointed by their t
hree upbeat Clash-esq tales of punk rock and a banana.
Their tongue can sometimes be so far in their cheek it pokes out of the side and they unashamedly have one combat boot planted firmly in the late '70s, but they sound better than 99 per cent of the all-sound-the-same bands doing the rounds at the moment.
Clash Culture actually sounds like the Clash (surprise, surprise), and Big Bad Bob is more fun than a 100 Johhny
Rotten insults, so all in all, they make a fine account of themselves here.
If you don't know what Destructors666 sound like by now, you haven't read any of the other 14 or 15 reviews I've written on them, so I am deeply offended.
I could tell you that this is their heavy metal EP, that they have all grown their hair and now sound like Slayer, but I'd be lying.
They sound like Destructors666, and that's good enough for me.
They rework a couple of old Destructors songs, throw in a cover and unleash newie Hey There God Dammit! – which is pretty good dammit.
Personally, I love scuz punk, I love punk rock with melodies and a bit of backbone, so this hits the spot perfectly.
