Friday night's performance by Hot Leg certainly did not disappoint.
Fronted by Justin Hawkins, formally of The Darkness, the band delivered their brilliant glam rock music, with great guitar riffs and catchy melodies.

If you liked The Darkness, you'll like Hot Leg's music.

The band came on clad in head- bands, sleeveless T-shirts and tight trousers, not to mention a spiky codpiece worn by Justin, and they all donned face make-up especially for Halloween.

Justin, Pete Rinaldi, Samuel Stokes and Darby Todd all had great stage presence, and looked like they were really enjoying themselves.

They played to a packed venue – which included Justin's mum and dad! Not one member of the audience left disappointed.

Justin has a knack of getting the crowd involved and turning each concert into a special occasion.

He even had his dad singing for the crowd at one point.

After seeing The Darkness last at Nottingham Ice Arena, it was good to see Justin perform in a more intimate venue.

Supporting were six-piece Saving Aimee. Produced by Justin Hawkins, you can definitely see his influence stamped all over them.

However , Luke Quinn is a great vocalist in his own right, and a commanding stage presence.

Their heavy, catchy melodies went down well. Six people were a little crowded on the small stage, and I feel that their music would carry well at a bigger venue.
