It was the band's first visit to Peterborough in their 13 year career, and, as expected, tickets sold out weeks ago.
Their 90-minute set was packed full of hits, but it was the stage set-up, with a dazzling spectre of lights and three huge neon screens, which made the event most memorable.
Some of the new material fell a little flat early in the set, as the majority of the 1,100 strong crowd seemed unfamiliar with releases from the last two albums.
Or maybe they will still thawing from the bone shattering winds and lingering mist outside.

Frontman Grant Nicholas teased the crowd by playing the first few bars to Feeder's most familiar song, Buck Rogers, and then saying they weren't going to play it tonight.
But they did, and the crowd sprung to life.
And they even played my two favourite Feeder songs from the '90s, Yesterday Went Too Soon and High.
Bolstered by a second guitarist and keyboard player, the songs sounded a lot beefier than on record. But with the colossal Mark Richardson on drums, it was always going to be a frenetic affair.
Support came from The Chemists, whose booze rock riffs should have seen them win a few more converts, however predictable they sounded.
It was great to see a band of Feeder's calibre play in Peterborough, let's hope more start to follow.
