Punk heaven: Peter and the Test Tube Babies
Published Date:

PUNK fans should head to The Lime Tree on Saturday, 4 October to catch a rare Peterborough set from Peter and the Test Tube Babies.
The Brighton band formed in the late '70s and built up a strong following thanks to their boisterous sets and humorous tongue-in-cheek lyrics.
Now, with more than 10 albums under their belt, Peter and the Test Tube Babies continue to tour around the UK to the delight of their many fans.
Their polished, professional live show is in contrast to the non-serious nature of their lyrics.
In 1982, they covered the chart-topping Gary Glitter hit I'm the Leader of the Gang (I Am).
Doors, at the venue in Paston Lane, Walton, open at 7pm. Support comes from city favourites the Black Marias, a traditional punk rock band, who have played gigs in both New York and Prague, and supported Stiff Little Fingers earlier this year. Cambridge's Overload are also on the bill.
Tickets cost £10 on the door. To reserve one, call Mitch on 07731769720 now.
