Popular Peterborough act The Brays have stepped in as headline support for the Operahouse show on Friday, 21 November.
Gavin Hyde and his band have confirmed their availability after original act Flashguns pulled out due to recording commitments.

It means the strong bill for the Met Lounge show is now Operahouse with The Brays and The Throwaways.

Operahouse have just finished support shows with Dirty Pretty Things and The Automatic. They have also been named Guardian Band of the Day.

Reviewer Paul Lester said: "Singer Johnny favours the soaring, sweeping chorus – all the better for him to show what he can do, which is sweep and soar. He's emotive, and although the music he writes with Alex Kaines may not trouble the proprietors of the Royal Opera House, it's a notch or two above the usual three-chord indie shambles slung together by boys who consider the collective works of Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines the height of musical ambition."

Tickets for the show cost £5 from www.seetickets.com or 01733 571616.
It will cost £6 at the door from 8pm. It is a 14+ show, but under-16s must be accompanied.

The Guide has an interview with Operahouse next week.
