HIGH-energy punk rock hits Peterborough tonight, Friday, 4 July.
The Live Lounge, in King Street, will see No Gods No Managers present four acts on an action packed bill.

The Departed, Lockdown, Burning The Prospect and Kicked Down will feature from 8.45pm, with admission costing £2.50.

Grimsby outfit The Departed have wowed audiences in the city before, and tonight promises to be no different.

Travelling all the way from Newcastle will be Lockdown with Boston band Burning The Prospect, and the city's Kicked Down completing the line-up.

Event organiser Jody Jobson said: "It's going to be a good old-fashioned DIY punk rock show. It'll be a good fun night with some high energy music.

"It's the fourth show we've put on at the Live Lounge, and each time the bands seem to get better and better. I'm really pleased to have these four involved.

"I'm in a band myself, so I know how difficult it is to get gigs outside your usual area. This is an opportunity for three of the bands to do that, while Kicked Down will have the chance to meet some bands which may help them to get some gigs away from Peterborough.

"It should be a great night, I'm really looking forward to it."
