The band 10 Reasons To Live have come a long way since five school chums decided they wanted to be rock 'n' roll stars – an ambition that's not uncommon in their native Liverpool.
The melodic rock band are the first group of musicians to be offered a residency at the legendary Cavern Club since a fellow Liverpool group called The Beatles were given the same opportunity in the '60s.

Now they will appear at The Met Lounge tonight for a second appearance at the venue.

Formed in the time-honoured tradition of classmates getting together to make music, the band have continued to grow in stature, and they have just completed their eponymous debut album, the lead single from which reached an entirely new audience for 10 Reasons.

Front-man David Wilcox – former heart-throb of now defunct chart outfit Triple 8 – made the odd tabloid appearance for his association with female celebs, but now takes his place at the forefront of a rock outfit.

Support comes from Whittlesey's PointSevenPistol and Peterborough's The Aviators.

10 Reasons to Live will be at the Met Lounge from 8.30pm tonight (June 20). Tickets cost £7 at the door.
