Halloween: pubs, clubs, music and events in Peterborough

There is plenty going on in Peterborough this Halloween to keep your ghoulish cravings fully satisfied.
Most pubs and clubs are holding fancy dress events tonight (Friday):

The Brewery Tap is hosting an Art and Soul night, with sets from Caffeine, Acer, Point 7 Pistol, Aviators and The Brink. Ticket cost £4, and it all starts at 8pm
.

At the Glass Onion, in Burghley Road, there is a full weekend of activities to immerse yourself in.

Tonight (Friday) it becomes The Hooligans Next, and an amazing night of freaky entertainment, including a carnival of horrors and surreal delights is promised.

On the bill is Oscar de Winter, Vinnie Rant, Peddlebreaker, Cardinal Cox and The Rohan Theatre Band. Entry costs £4 from 7pm.

Saturday is The Day of The Dead and A Zombie Disco. In the afternoon there is a Halloween workshop, and a free electro and dubstep disco at night.

For those still wanting more, the Glass Onion hosts a 24 hour film festival on Sunday. Films include Shaun of the Dead, Nosferatu, Ghostbusters and the Corpse Bride. Entry is free.

More centrally, The Met Lounge has a fancy dress Halloween Ball tonight (Friday). Tickets cost £5 from 8pm. It's £3 with fancy dress. Headlining the night is The Ruined.
