Get down and dirty at The Met Lounge

IF you like your music turned up to 11, then head to The Met Lounge tonight (November 14th).
One look at Heavens Basement, and you know exactly what's in store – toe curdling riffs and stadium-sized anthems.
Although relatively new, various members of the band were involved with a band called The Hurricane Party a couple of years ago.
Singer Richie Hevanz said: "We are each individually inspired by a wealth of different influences, but as a collective we find inspiration from such great bands as Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Alice In Chains, The Cult and The Sex Pistols."
Promoter Steve Jason said: "Heavens Basement opened up for Bon Jovi in front of 50,000 people at The City of Manchester Stadium just over a year ago – not a bad achievement for a band that was unsigned at the time.
"Anybody who is into bands such as AC/DC, Guns N' Roses and Aerosmith should really make the effort to check this band out – they will not be disappointed."
After tonight's date, the band head out on tour with UK rock legends Thunder.
Opening up the show are Peterborough-based band The Brink and a new band to the Met Lounge, Metal Medicine – who supported Skid Row when they played in Peterborough last year.
Doors open at 8.30pm. Entry costs £6.
