DEATH metal demolition squad Suffocation make an appearance in the city tonight.
One of the genre's unsung heroes, Suffocation will be at The Park from 7pm on a bill that also includes Annotations Of An Autopsy and Trigger The Bloodshed.

The band have recently started getting their dues, and are now understood as a hugely influential outfit that first brought complex rhythms and a more technical dimension to older forms of metal.

Suffocation have survived a split from their former label and a break-up to go on to play to more audiences, many of whom have discovered the band through the artists that have emulated them.

Suffocation, Annotations Of An Autopsy and Trigger The Bloodshed will be at The Park tonight. Tickets, costing £11, are available at www.thepark4 music.com or for £12.50 at the door.
