MUSIC will bloom into life at The Cherry Tree pub, in Oundle Road, Woodston, on Sunday, July 6 at its annual music day.
Among the acts lined up to play outside the venue are David Bowie tribute band Aladdinsane, and Children of the Revolution.

Also on the bill are Northern Soul combo The Replicas and The Karsie Chiefs.

Keeping the beat will be The Pulse, ditching the traditional tour bus in favour of faster transport will be all-girl group Came By Plane, while Jono is a Scottish singer-songwriter.

Retrolux will round the evening off at the rather un-rock 'n' roll time of around 8pm, in deference to the pub's neighbours.

Admission is free, but there will be a raffle and collection in aid of The Musicians' Union benevolent fund and Sue Ryder Care at Thorpe Hall Hospice, Peterborough.
