CITY guitar hero Gizz Butt and his band The More I See will launch their latest album at Peterborough's newest live music venue.
The Peterborough Live Lounge will host a performance from the band as they officially launch The Unholy Feast tonight.

The More I See found an innovative way to reach a wider audience in the face of widespread music industry concerns about fallin
g sales last month, when they agreed to distribute a shorter version of the album free with Metal Hammer magazine.

Now, the band – which features former Prodigy guitarist Gizz, and Spike Smith, who has played with Morrissey among others – will formally release the full version of what they are calling the band's most introspective and complex album.

Dave Mitchell, of Peterborough Live Lounge, said advance tickets are not available, and that demand is expected to be high for the chance to see the band play their new material.

"It's a case of turn up on the door, but we recommend that people turn up early to this one because it will be very busy," he said.

The King Street venue has been launched with the aim of creating a similar live music destination to the Fiddler's Elbow, which used to stand at the site.

Tomorrow night will see performances from Eastfield, FannyPads, P-Town Deadites and all-girl group The Smears. The night kicks off at 7.30pm, and entry costs £2.
