Youngsters at The Voyager Academy to stage Broadway musical

TALENTED youngsters at a Peterborough school are set to stage an acclaimed Broadway musical this week.

The Voyager Academy, in Mountsteven Avenue, Walton, will perform Hairspray from Wednesday to Friday at 7pm each night.

The musical, based on the 1988 John Waters film, is set in 1960s Baltimore and features such songs as Welcome to the Sixties.

Tickets are available from the academy’s reception.

They are priced at £4 for adults and £3 for children.
