TALENTED dancers made all the right moves after beating the snowy conditions to put on a show.
Youngsters of the Encore Dance Academy performed at The Cresset in Peterborough over the weekend, despite the heavy snow which hit the city.
The pupils performed a variety of different dances including ballet, modern and tap, performing excerpts based on famous ballets including Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
Sally Owen-Correia, academy principal, said: “Our dancers are very committed and despite the heavy snow on Saturday they were determined to put on a show.
“We had about 160 pupils taking part so it was quite a big event and there was a big crowd too.
“They performed superbly and got a lot of good feedback from the audience.
“We perform a show every 18 months and obviously a lot of hard work and practice goes into that performance.
“We take dancers from the age of two-and-a-half upwards and even have a couple of pupils in their late teens and early twenties.
“I’m really proud of all the dancers who took part and would like to thank everyone who attended.”
