Bollywood and bling at Stamford’s Mama Liz’s bar
SAMPLE a taste of Bollywood when a Come Dine With Me guest hosts a food and dance evening in Stamford.
Spice queen Parveen Ashraf, who runs the city-based Amaani Spice Box, featured on the hit Channel 4 series in 2010.
Parveen has now been invited to host a Bollywood and food night at Mama Liz’s, in Stamford, on Friday, February 10.
You can experience a fabulous Indian themed evening with lots of colour and spice including a cocktail on arrival and an authentic three-course Kashmiri buffet.
Afterwards, in the downstairs Voodoo Lounge, there will be Indian dancing, an Asian style sheesha experience and chai latte to drink.
The dress code is Bollywood and bling for all. All inclusive tickets cost £25 from liz@mamaliz.co.uk.
Other upcoming events at the Stamford venue include The Re-entrants on Thursday and The Hillbilly Moon Explosion (‘hot music for cool people’) on February 11.
