The Master Wit of Westminster hosts an evening for John Clare
JOURNALIST and broadcaster Simon Hoggart will be the special guest at this year’s John Clare literary dinner.
Taking place at the William Cecil Hotel, in Stamford, Simon will lead an evening of fine dining and hilarity.
Simon will read from and talk about his life in journalism with jokes and anecdotes that are sure to sparkle with wit and wisdom.
The event is on Friday, February 24. Dinner tickets for The Master Wit of Westminster cost £60 per person from 01733 253330.
Tickets are also on sale for An Evening with Chris Andrews at John Clare Cottage, in Helpston, near Peterborough, on February 21.
Chris of the RSPB at Fineshades Wood, near Corby will guide the audience through the UK’s relationships with birds as shown in myths and folklore.
