Poems will mark the Diamond Jubilee

YOUNG poets can enter a competition which ties in with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

A big event is planned at Whittlesey Manor Leisure Centre on Monday, June 4 and winning entries will be announced on the day.

The poems should have a jubilee theme and there are four age categories – four to seven years; eight to 11 years; 11 to 14 years and 15 to 18 years.

Entries should be delivered to Whittlesey Town Council office at Grosvenor House by March 30.
