Lunchtime concerts at Oundle’s St Peter’s Church

TALENTED young performers will be the musical focus of a pair of lunchtime concerts.

Taking place inside Oundle’s St Peter’s Church, the recitals are a public rehearsal for pupils’ music examination performance.

Each pupil has to perform for 12 minutes, sometimes using more than one instrument – voice and trumpet, for example

The recitals last between 30 and 45 minutes. Admission is free. They are on February 9 and 23. Co-ordinator Sandra Cochrane said: “These lunchtime concerts are well worth attending. Performing to large audiences is beneficial to the students and their recital.”
