Huntingdon Male Voice Choir 50th anniversary concert

DETAILS of a concert to mark the 50th anniversary of a choir have been revealed.

Huntingdon Male Voice Choir will have the luxury of singing in the welcoming atmosphere of All Saints Church, in Sawtry, near Peterborough, for the show.

The choir will be joined at the February 18 concert by Grace Wain, a talented contralto soloist who will be appearing with them for the first time.

Grace is a final year student at The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama though her family home is in Peterborough.

The choir’s musical director, Peter Davies, has described Grace’s talent as “exceptional” and “not to be missed”.

Tickets for the concert are available by contacting Ian Fuller on 01480 819077, or through John Green’s Newsagent in Sawtry, and the church itself.

The next date in the calendar is a show at Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre on March 17.
